The bottom line is this - government is out of control, and it is not adhering to our state and federal Constitutions. Public servants are violating their oaths of office to uphold the Constitutions and neglecting their duty to the people. As a result, America is in a perpetual state of national emergency; the American people have been placed into perpetual debt; the economy has been destroyed; we have lost our industrial work base; our borders are being invaded by millions of illegal immigrants; Social Security and our banking systems are failing, and more.

PCCOH usually doesn't take a stand on issues that are not specifically addressed by our current project, the OHIO SOVEREIGNTY AMENDMENT. The ability to conduct trade and exchange goods and services lies at the heart of all organized societies. To exchange the goods and services we produce with our own hands and dexterity for those of another is a fundamental right which existed long before our form of government ever existed. This is a practice and a right at the heart of the "Free Enterprise" system.

The office of Sheriff in Ohio began in 1788 when Colonel Ebenezer Sproat, an officer who served for the duration of the Revolutionary War, was appointed by the Colonial Governor of the Northwest Territory. Colonel Sproat served as sheriff for approximately 14 years until 1803 when William Skinner became the first elected sheriff for the new state of Ohio.

What could be more beneficial to building a moral and honorable society than to teach morals and honor in our public schools? Likewise, what could be more beneficial to preserving our Rights, Liberties, and constitutional system of government than to teach our children the importance of these very principles upon which our great American society was established?

To bear arms in defense of one's self or his family, property or community is a fundamental and natural Right of preservation, and it is necessary for the protection of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. Without the Right to bear arms, there can be no security for the other essential Rights and Liberties of the people.

We at PCCOH have been aggressively promoting constitutional government under the presumption that the majority of Americans agree that this is a good thing. However, none of us have ever lived under a constitutionally compliant government, so we may wonder what one looks like - how would it be different than what we currently have? This is a very good question. This brief flyer cannot answer it completely, but it provides a starting point from which to proceed.

For over a century, government has gradually, but steadily, exercised stricter control over the American people and promoted socialism. This has encouraged the people to rely on government handouts as opposed to their own independence and self-reliance.
