Please note that PCCOH cannot endorse any particular candidates.
However, we do provide an opportunity for candidates to endorse state sovereignty and the efforts of PCCOH to hold government in compliance with and accountable to our state and federal Constitutions.

I believe that the only legitimate purpose of government is to protect the lives, liberty and property of the people. Specifically, we must abolish “public” or government education, drug laws and all other victimless “crime” laws, and restore the right to keep and bear arms. I also favor the repeal of the USA Patriot Act. Nullification is a very important tool to restrict the federal government, get rid of unconstitutional federal laws, and restore state sovereignty as guaranteed in the tenth amendment of the Constitution for the United States. This is why I will always vote to increase the liberties of the people and continue to uphold my oaths to the Constitution for the United States and the Constitution for the State of Ohio, as written.

For these reasons, I endorse the efforts of the Peoples Constitution Coalition of Ohio to restore liberty through reinstatement of constitutional government.

It is highly doubtful that there has ever been assembled the brilliant minds and the committed souls who gathered in Philadelphia over two hundred years ago and became known as the United States Founding Fathers. These Patriots crafted the greatest civil document that mankind's efforts have ever produced. Sadly the document that they produced has been eroded over time.

As a Candidate for Ohio Secretary of State I believe that in order to regain America's greatness we must return to the United States Constitution. During my lifetime I have seen great emphasis placed on defending the First and Second Amendments of the Constitution. It is my belief we must support all efforts to protect and promote the Tenth Amendment in a similar manner so our rights as Americans are not continually eroded.

As a Candidate for statewide office I endorse and support the efforts of The Peoples Constitution Coalition of Ohio.

Our Founders understood something that has been lost on most Americans today, that government serves best that serves the least and that government that is closest to the people is the most representative of the will of the people. Only by returning to government of, by, and for the people can true liberty ever be restored.

We must never forget that it was the states that created the Federal Government and that the Bill of Rights was established not to grant rights to the people, but rather, to bind the government down with chains.

I stand in complete support of the efforts of the Peoples Constitution Coalition of Ohio whose sole desire is to return the control of government to the people. Only by doing so can we stop the onslaught of unconstitutitonal edicts being forced on the citizens of sovereign states. We must fight to keep those chains in place.

The matter of state sovereignty over the federal government is not a modern notion contrived to address recent events. Rather, it was a fundamental principle set forth by our Founding Fathers in the Bill of Rights and incorporated into law by inclusion as the Tenth Amendment to the federal Constitution in 1791.

Our Founding Fathers understood that the separation and balance between state and federal powers in our federalist Republic system of government would help to preserve the checks and balances required to protect the peoples’ freedoms and prevent acts of tyranny by government.

As a legislator elected to serve the people in Ohio, it is my duty to uphold the state and federal Constitutions and to protect the people in Ohio from abuses by government.

The Ohio Senate has passed Senate Concurrent Resolution 13, which I introduced. SCR 13 gives notice to the federal government that the State of Ohio intends to maintain its sovereign powers under the 10th amendment of the constitution.

I hereby applaud and support the efforts of the Peoples Constitution Coalition of Ohio to ensure Ohio’s sovereign rights under the United States Constitution’s 10th amendment.

“I am the only candidate for Ohio Governor who will eliminate income taxes immediately, halt federal bribes, restore state sovereignty, give the people back their schools, and who promises NOT to run for a second term. I'm running not to become a politician, but to restore power to the people!”
Thirteen original colonies created the federal government to “establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of Liberty.” They did so as well to “form a more perfect union” of individual States. Anyone who seriously studies the background and history of these united States, the Declaration of Independence, the Articles of Confederation, the Constitution, the Federalist Papers, and the convention and ratification debates knows well that the States “are, and of right ought to be free and independent,” equipped with a republican form of government. Our constitutions are our blueprint for freedom.

The federal government is not much more now than a rogue entity, usurping the power and dangerous to the liberties of the people and their states. I am committed and intend, when elected, to be a barrier between the free people of the State of Ohio and the out-of-control federal government and its unconstitutional mandates and system of state bribery and coercion.

I support the effort of PCCOH in creating a viable amendment to the Ohio Constitution that provides a means to recall career politicians or any elected official in Ohio who does not fulfill his or her oath to protect, defend, and uphold the Constitution of the United States and the Ohio Constitution. If elected officials truly lived by their oaths to protect our liberties, this amendment would be unnecessary. The steady trends of usurpation of the last 100 years clearly show, unfortunately, that it is time we reaffirm and reestablish our sovereignty in a concrete and binding way.

“The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people” - Amendment X of the United States Constitution.
As a candidate for the United States House of Representatives (Ohio District 13), as well as our campaign, I pledge to uphold the X Amendment and the entire United States Constitution as written. We do not adhere to the “living document” fringe, but support the document as intended by our Founding Fathers. The Constitution, as well as our Judeo-Christian values, is what made this great country what it is today.

Some of our elected politicians seem to have forgotten that, but we commit to upholding those values and will continue to do so in our public and private lives.

State sovereignty is an important issue at all times, but even more so in these days of Constitutional ignorance or plain disregard for our government’s blueprint by so many in Washington. This is why The Peoples Constitution Coalition of Ohio (PCCOH) is so important and why the Haney for Congressman Committee endorses their efforts to pass an Ohio Sovereignty Amendment and why I personally signed the petition to help get it on the ballot.

Please vote for Bill Haney on May 4 and review our web site at www.billhaney.org to see details on our commitment to fight for Traditional American Values, Fiscal Responsibility, and America First Foreign & Domestic Policies. We also encourage you to support the efforts of the good people at PCCOH.

God Bless America,

As a citizen of a state within the United States of America, we are living in exciting days because, like our founding generation, those who believe in the principles of freedom as expressed by our enlightened forefathers have an opportunity to preserve, protect and defend liberty not through the mere pretense of voting. Rather, it will come through the active and constructive planning and framing of institutions of government to best accomplish this end. Never before since the 1770s have people who live on this part of the world called America been faced with such an honorable and highly responsible position of protecting freedom in this manner. It then becomes not just our privilege, but moreover our duty to preserve freedom for ourselves, our families and our posterity.

It is with great pleasure that I have learned of The Peoples Constitution Coalition of Ohio, where they have declared in their mission statement to institute principles of free government for a free society within the borders of the sovereign state of Ohio. Upon their mission statement, they have proposed a plan of action, whereby the people of Ohio have the opportunity to apply those natural laws of God, as recognized in the Declaration of Independence, and to seek that form of government which best preserves the fundamental freedoms that you hold sacred.

If your freedoms are worthy of dying for, they most certainly are worth your time, energy and efforts of knowing and understanding the truths that set people free. They most certainly require the time you spend to study the matters on your own and to apply those ageless and eternal principles of freedom. Now is the time to quit relying on Washington D.C. to provide you freedom, when they have proven to be mostly interested in taking it away. Your defense and success is at home, in your own state. Reignite self-government, and you will reignite freedom!

I am honored to endorse the Peoples Constitution Coalition of Ohio. Every public official takes an oath of office to support and defend their respective Constitutions, whether state or federal.

While I was on active duty, on five occasions I took an oath to support and defend the U.S. Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. That is a life-long commitment, and I look forward to renewing that oath twice as a U.S. Representative for Ohio's 7th Congressional District. I will not take that oath more than twice as I will self-impose limits of no more than two terms.

After that public service, I will return to civilian life and enjoy the liberty, freedom, and U.S. and State sovereignty I helped protect while in Washington.
